The Brief

The Pineapple Republic were engaged to create a brand identity for Old Tom Restaurant and Bar and execute a memorable VIP launch event with publicity post-event to keep the buzz humming.

The Campaign

We developed a complete brand suite for Old Tom, including logo, menu design and marketing collateral. We also executed a three-month PR campaign to promote the launch of the restaurant via a two pronged approach; launching Old Tom with a VIP event and editorial opportunities targeting top tier local and national media, and activating an on-going influencer campaign designed to ignite curiosity in the local dining scene.

Secured blanketed coverage on the Gold Coast and nationally in publications such as Gourmet Traveller Wine, Gold Coast Bulletin, Taste, Indulge Magazine, Gourmand and Gourmet, The Urban List and The Weekend Edition.
