The Brief

Create hype and buzz locally for The Island Hotel after the Gold Coast icon received a multi-million dollar refurbishment.

The Campaign

Positioning The Island as a spectacular dining, accommodation and entertainment precinct, The Pineapple Republic were able to secure over 21 pieces of coverage during the three-month campaign period. This was achieved by seeding positive news stories to local and state-wide media, with a particular focus on the dining offerings, in order to drive visitation to the property. An accompanying influencer family program was also activated in alignment with the PR campaign.
